After unsurprisingly making the 2018 XXL Freshmen list, Smokepurpp is keen on leveraging his scorching reputation for mass proliferation. Today, he’s come through with his first single since being selected by the classic hip-hop barometer, “Best Friend”.
Adhering to his formulaic aesthetic, “Best Friend” is in-line with Purpp’s conventional musical offerings, complete with line about how he wants to have sex with your best friend, his love for lean, zany ad-libs, and other Purpp cornerstones.
