Last year’s “Blue Carpet Treatment” was a welcomed return for Snoop Dogg, and now the rapper is hoping for a similar response for his upcoming album “Ego Trippin’”. Snoop announced that the album will drop in March on Doggystyle/Geffen Records with the first single being “Sensual Seduction”. The video for the song will debut on November 28 on MTV’s TRL and Snoop will personally introduce his video on BET’s 106 & Park on November 29.

To get you amped for the release of the album, Snoop’s reality show, “Doggfather” will debut on E! on December 9. The show will focus on Snoop’s home life, similar to the The Osbournes, Hogan Knows Best and Gene Simmon’s Family Jewels.

“It is based on the life and times of Snoop Dogg, as well as me as a father, husband and the entertainer that I am,” Snoop told Access Hollywood. “You ain’t gonna see that bull****. You gonna see some real stuff, you gonna see me doing what I do, you know what I’m saying? A lot of people don’t understand that I am a father. They don’t understand what goes into my life. They just think I’m a superhero. They think I go in the phone booth, get dressed and come out and save the day. So I am showing that I am actually a real person and I go through real things in life.”

  1. Despite a strong start, this so-called rap legend is a representation of the beginning of the the fall of hip hip’s golden years in the late 80s and early 90s and the definition of the word “ignorance.” He embarrasses me. He embarasses himself.
