A track from the A3C Volume 7 compilation album.

Earlier last week, A3C and iHipHop Distribution released their seventh collaborative project, A3C Volume 7. Coming in strong at 49 tracks, the album dissects the vast underground hip-hop world to showcase who’s got next. Considering A3C alumni include the likes of Action Bronson, Vince Staples, Danny Brown, and others, it’s an apt musical barometer.

In addition to releasing the 49-track-long album, iHipHop Distribution selects a handful of songs to convert into music videos. Last week, the budding emcee Kodie Shane, member of Lil Yachty’s Sailing Team, issued her visual for “Bounce Back”. Today, burgeoning artist Solomonilla has debuted his video for “Whole Life”.

Premiered via Elevator, “Whole Life” pays homage to hustling towards one’s dreams—the lifelong grind. Shot by European director Xavier LaCroix, this lo-fi visual supplements Solomonilla’s artistic edge and further separates him from the densely crowded underground scene. By combining hypnotic melodies with clever lyricism, Solo is poised for his breakout moment at any time.

A3C Volume 7 is available worldwide via A3C / iHipHop Distribution.
