You would hope that when you get to 72 you are sitting at home chilling, watching your grand kids play, sipping on a cold beer and having worked your ass off for years just enjoying the finer things in life. Not in the case of Soul Train founder Don Cornelius who was arrested Friday evening at his residence on the picturesque Mulholland Drive which boasts the best views of LA and the San Fernando Valley. With bail set at $50,000 Cornelius who developed Soul Train back in 1970 was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. It is unclear as to who Cornelius was said to have attacked and there were no hospital reports released in conjunction with the incident.
Cornelius was released at 5 am yesterday morning and is scheduled to appear in court on November 14th relating to the incident.
