Have to admire the tact Soulja Boy has displayed by keeping his mouth shut about the robbery that allegedly happened before Christmas. In a recent interview where he did discuss the attack on him and his homeboys he explained that the reason he kept quiet was because he didn’t want to upset his fans. We all know his fan base is the kiddies and you know what I have to commend him for that, even though keeping schtum was hopefully to maintain record sales which didn’t really happen, he didn’t want the kids upset and I guess turned off, with talks of AK47s and robberies.
Well anyway the Crank Dat rapper felt obliged to talk about the incident which some of us may have even doubted took place (PR stunt) in an interview with Big Boy out in LA last Friday on his radio show. This is straight from the horses mouth
“I got back to my house at around 3 in the morning and I was in the studio recording. So two of my homeboys was in the living room and Me and Arab we was in the studio recording. And somebody kicked in the door One dude ran in put the AK to my homeboy head, put him on the floor, the other two ran in as my homeboy jumped in the other room – so the other two dudes ran back so I peeped in the door and they running through my house with Ks and pistols – so I ducked back. I really can’t dwell on what happened after that, but it was a messed up situation and I’m glad everyone made it out alive.”
Well at least we know the deal now. However there was no mention about the two dudes who appeared on the net claiming they were the ones who committed the robbery. I wonder why.
