It was a peaceful protest according to Minnesota University but people weren’t excited to have Crank That rapper Soulja Boy on Campus to perform this past weekend. The protests organizer Arielle Schnur was hoping that the protest would send a message to the Entertainment Committee that wack rappers ‘artists that degrades half the student body as sex objects and the other half as sexual assault perpetrators’ are just not cool to have on campus. Soulja Boy wasn’t too happy that he was welcomed in such a fashion either but c’est la vie.
