iHipHop AdminStones Throw Records announced its partnership with 2K Games to release a soundtrack for its upcoming game, NBA 2K8. The soundtrack, “B-Ball Zombie War” was compiled by Peanut Butter Wolf and is set to drop on October 2, the same day the video game hits stores.
The soundtrack features appearances from Talib Kweli, Percee P, Q-Tip, MF Doom, Guilty Simpson and others with production from Just Blaze, J Dilla, Madlib, and Peanut Butter Wolf. After the album’s release, 2K Sports and Stones Throw will partner for two tours: Common, Q-Tip and Percee P in September and a Stones Throw Showcase featuring Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf and J Rocc.
