Cam’ron made hip-hop history by becoming the first pink shirt advocate to appear on CBS’s 60 Minutes Sunday night. Killa Cam shared his insight on the now played out “no snitching” street code. Predictably, he defended the code of ethics, citing business reasons.
“With the type of business I’m in, it would definitely hurt my business,” Cam’ron told CNN’s Anderson Cooper before adding, “and the way that I was raised, I just don’t do that. I was raised differently, not to tell.”
Geoffrey Canada, an anti-violence advocate who was also interviewed on the topic, begs to differ.
“People are walking around with shirts. People are going out making, making music. People are saying things that if you’re a snitch it’s like being an Uncle Tom was when I was growing up,” said
