A$AP Ferg and YG have returned to their respective coasts following their Beast Coast Connection Tour. And today Ferg is sharing their collaborative track “This Side” from Ferg’s Ferg Forever mixtape. The video, fittingly, features footage from the tour. And damn, it looked like a wild time! After A$AP Mob officially scrapped their highly anticipated, long gestating crew album a week ago fans seemingly began to lose hope for the Harlem collective. That is, of course, until founder A$AP Yams announced that A$AP Rocky’s album is “up next”. And today we receive perhaps the first single off said album, “Multiply” featuring Memphis legend (and everyone’s favorite) Juicy J. If you don’t know about A$AP Nast, now ya know. Harlem’s next up hops in the time machine with Method Man and takes it back to the early 90s for “Trillmatic.” This will serve as the first release from the upcoming A$AP Mob album, which is now set for a March 4 release.
Special guests include Snoop Lion, Bun B, RiFF RaFF and, the inimitable, Kathy Griffin. I think the homey’s found his lane.
On Saturday August 17, 2013 the Trillectro Music Festival returned to Washington DC to blend the genres of electronica and hip-hop. Once a year, Austin, TX transforms into the music capital of the world during the annual SXSW Music Festival. This year was no exception, as fans in attendance were able to experience countless live performances from sunrise to sunset each day, with numerous showcases and lively parties throughout the city. Amidst all of the amazing showcases, ridiculous parties and crowded streets, iHipHop was on-hand to capture all of the weeks’ events. On March 6, 2013 Bodega BAMZ (TANBOYS) and A$AP Twelvy, performed at Santos Party House. The event, which was presented by Noisey, featured guest appearances from Flatbush Zombies, N.O.R.E., Willie HEX, A$AP Nast, A$AP Illz, and more. Also on hand were Black Dave and Kyle Rapps.
