Just the other week Vince Staples announced a follow up to his debut album Summertime ’06 was coming soon. Earlier today Vince surprised us by releasing the Prima Donna EP a day ahead of schedule.
Pusha T’s Darkest Before Dawn is set to drop first thing midnight and after sharing “Untouchable,” “M.F.T.R. (More Famous Than Rich),” and “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets,” Pusha T is sharing the heavyweight feature cut “MPA.” In addition to recruiting Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, and The-Dream for “MPA,” the track is produced by the Dreamville superstar J. Cole. Listen after the jump.
A$AP Rocky’s sophomore album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, sprung a leak over the weekend. In order to combat the impending piracy, A$AP and his label decided to move the release date to today. Now you can hear the album that features Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Juicy J, ScHoolboy Q, Mos Def, M.I.A. and more in its entirety.
Yesterday the BasedGod himself, Lil B, treated his followers with a leak from A$AP Rocky’s highly-anticipated album At.Long.Last.A$AP by tweeting a link for the “LSD” (which can find after the jump). Today, HHNM revealed the track list for ALLA, which drop July 2nd and is executive produced by Danger Mouse and the late A$AP Yams. The album features guest appearances from Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Juicy J, ScHoolboy Q, Mos Def, M.I.A. and more.
With Raekwon’s F.I.L.A. (Fly International Luxurious Art) project on the horizon, the Chef lets loose one of the album’s most anticipated tracks. “I Got Money” features A$AP Rocky in rare form over a boom-bap style beat laced by S1.
So apparently, A$AP Rocky, who was riding around London had an object hurrled at his car. This prompted Rocky and crew to follow the alleged assailant into a bagel shop and confront him. Rocky, who is from Harlem, put on his best Harlem tough guy pose and went at the guy, giving him a ear full, and threatened to put hands on him. Rocky cooled off and walked away. However, the man (or men?) in the bagel shop had some choice words for Rocky as well. The title of the video, by the way, is “ASAP Rocky Running Gums in London” so clearly the people in that bagel shop weren’t exactly “cool” with the A$AP Mob all-star. Check out the full video of the confrontation after the jump.
A$AP Rocky, who is currently prepping the release of his forthcoming sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP, has released a new song. It’s called “M’$” and was produced by C-Note and Mike Dean. Rocky premiered the track during a Red Bull Music Academy conversation that took place yesterday in London. Though it’s a new track it will not appear on At.Long.Last.A$AP. Check it out after the jump.
As part of his Tumblr Q&A, A$AP Rocky shared the visuals for his “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye II” cut, which is set to appear on his forthcoming studio album. In addition, the visuals feature another snippet of a new song, which appears around the 2:11 mark. Peep A$AP Rocky’s “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye II” video after the jump.
After A$AP Mob officially scrapped their highly anticipated, long gestating crew album a week ago fans seemingly began to lose hope for the Harlem collective. That is, of course, until founder A$AP Yams announced that A$AP Rocky’s album is “up next”. And today we receive perhaps the first single off said album, “Multiply” featuring Memphis legend (and everyone’s favorite) Juicy J. Some noteworthy lyrics from Rocky: “Come to Harlem if you’ve never seen Baghdad”. Video after the jump.
Juicy J once upon a time had a scholarship fund for aspiring dancers on the road to higher education. But some people stopped that, considering it’s crazy. Nonetheless, the sentiment wasn’t lost. Juicy wants to continue his philanthropy by releasing the following promotional single. Let no pole go un-twerked in this struggle for equal opportunity.
