So apparently, A$AP Rocky, who was riding around London had an object hurrled at his car. This prompted Rocky and crew to follow the alleged assailant into a bagel shop and confront him. Rocky, who is from Harlem, put on his best Harlem tough guy pose and went at the guy, giving him a ear full, and threatened to put hands on him. Rocky cooled off and walked away. However, the man (or men?) in the bagel shop had some choice words for Rocky as well. The title of the video, by the way, is “ASAP Rocky Running Gums in London” so clearly the people in that bagel shop weren’t exactly “cool” with the A$AP Mob all-star. Check out the full video of the confrontation after the jump.
A$AP Rocky, who is currently prepping the release of his forthcoming sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP, has released a new song. It’s called “M’$” and was produced by C-Note and Mike Dean. Rocky premiered the track during a Red Bull Music Academy conversation that took place yesterday in London. Though it’s a new track it will not appear on At.Long.Last.A$AP. Check it out after the jump.
As part of his Tumblr Q&A, A$AP Rocky shared the visuals for his “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye II” cut, which is set to appear on his forthcoming studio album. In addition, the visuals feature another snippet of a new song, which appears around the 2:11 mark. Peep A$AP Rocky’s “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye II” video after the jump.
After A$AP Mob officially scrapped their highly anticipated, long gestating crew album a week ago fans seemingly began to lose hope for the Harlem collective. That is, of course, until founder A$AP Yams announced that A$AP Rocky’s album is “up next”. And today we receive perhaps the first single off said album, “Multiply” featuring Memphis legend (and everyone’s favorite) Juicy J. Some noteworthy lyrics from Rocky: “Come to Harlem if you’ve never seen Baghdad”. Video after the jump.
Juicy J once upon a time had a scholarship fund for aspiring dancers on the road to higher education. But some people stopped that, considering it’s crazy. Nonetheless, the sentiment wasn’t lost. Juicy wants to continue his philanthropy by releasing the following promotional single. Let no pole go un-twerked in this struggle for equal opportunity.
Some young upstarts and a true blue vet graced the MTV stage. Here is the video of the freestylish result.
Impromptu freestyle session breaks out with A$AP Rocky rapping alongside Kosha Dillz and Matisyahu on the beatbox. Never underestimate this art form.
Rocky and Kathy Griffin talk about banging each other, gangbanging, fantasy threesomes, and buckets of sizzurp for nine minutes. Did I mention I love the internet?
Rocky gives BET’s 106 & Park the green-light to premiere (yes, apparently artists still do this in 2013) his official visual for “Fashion Killa” off Long.Live.A$AP. You may recognize the female face in the video. Hint: It’s Rihanna. Directed by Virgil Abloh.
Rocky and Riff Raff sit down for the second part of their “Back & Forth” interview for Noisey, featuring an appearance from A$AP Yams and A$AP Ferg. Much hilarity ensues including Riff Raff claiming to be a virgin.
Special guests include Snoop Lion, Bun B, RiFF RaFF and, the inimitable, Kathy Griffin. I think the homey’s found his lane.
