A$AP and their promises… tsk tsk. We already know how that story goes. But despite the constant push backs, delays, and flat out projects being scrapped the A$AP Mob is good at dropping that heat when everyone is least expecting it. You may recall Rocky dropping the aggressive “Multiply” out of the blue back in early October and looks as though Ferg is following suit with the equally menacing and braggadocios new cut “Perfume”. To sum up Ferg’s new song in one word: banger. “Perfume”, produced by Philo$ Cult, is set to appear on his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape, Ferg Forever. But we’ll see about that. Listen after the jump!
With both A$AP Ferg and YG heading out on the BestCoast Connection Tour in a couple days the two have decided to share their collaborative new track called “This Side”. Listen to the track after the jump.
A$AP Mob fans are anxiously awaiting the release of Rocky’s new album, which, at this very moment does not have a release date. However, Rocky did finally gift his fervent fans with some new music in “Multiply” earlier in the month. Needless to say it got fans hyped for the new record. And within “Multiply” was an easter egg for another new track, “Pretty Flacko Pt. 2″. Now, during a recent live performance Rocky went ahead and dropped “Pretty Flacko Pt. 2″ and the crowd certainly reciprocated. Watch after the jump!
Harlem based producer Crystal Caines is joined by native Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg for “Whiteline”. As with anything visual pertaining A$AP Ferg you’re going to get a super crazy, hyper-stylized video. This one is certainly no exception. Check it out after the jump.
Besides topping the charts on Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” single, Juicy J has had himself an awfully quiet 2014 thus far. But have no fear, as the Juice Mane stay trippy even when you’re least suspecting. And today the Memphis OG shared a new track “Ice” featuring Future and A$AP Ferg. The track is also produced by frequent collaborator Mike Will Made It. It bangs. After the jump!
As we progress as a culture, the fine line between hip-hop and electronic music becomes evermore obscured. And perhaps that’s a good thing because as a result we get interesting, new music and ideas. Case in point: this new track by the elusive UK producer SBTRKT featuring Harlem spitter/crooner ASAP Ferg. SBTRKT’s cloudy production, slow and steady tempo is a perfect catalyst for Ferg to lay down some outrageous vocals and bizarre lyrics. Don’t believe us? Check it out for yourself after the jump.
Singer-songwriter Sam Smith went from being just another ordinary English boy to a worldwide sensation thanks to his pipes and honest, confessional lyrics. The same could be said about ASAP Rocky, who went from standing on the block in Harlem to being one of the most distinct rappers in the world today. So it’s not that farfetched that Rocky would jump on Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One” to deliver two stellar and equally heartfelt verses. Check out the track below.
During the A$AP Mob’s set at Coachella, Rocky decides to take the opportunity to debut some new music (32 minute mark). This sounds hard.
