Yes I know, it is a really slow news day as it so often is after a holiday, but we have to give you something to read. Anyhow my sources in Atlanta tell me that Fantasia and Young Dro are no longer  couple. So much for all those reports of them being engaged. Must admit, they were quite a cute couple when you see them in this pic.

A female rapper from ATL who goes by the stage name Maryjane was granted a restraining order against Phoenix Suns star Shaquille O Neal who has allegedly been stalking the 23 year old perfromer born Alexis Miller.  Miller and O Neal who were allegedly involved in a relationship for eight months broke up last month and threatening text messages from the NBA player were submitted as evidence in court on Thursday last week. It has also been reported that O Neal told Miller that he would pay other rappers $50,000 to not work with the burgeoning rap star because of their break up. Sources have implied that Miller was the reason as to why O Neal and his wife Shaunie were heading for the divorce court last year. However the couple have since reconciled and are working on making their marriage work. Shaq has been ordered to stay away from Miller and her 19 month old child and prohibited to have any contact with her or come within 200 m of her. He was accused of stalking,  threatening bodily harm and harassing phone calls.

…if he doesn’t put his hand in his pocket and start paying child support. Turns out Bad Boy Young Joc has been avoiding paying his baby Moms Fatimah Jester child support for the couples child. With only $2,000 a month to pay you would think he would be able to keep up on the payments, but he isn’t. Not only is he late in coughing up the cash, he also fails to make the full payment. Now Ms Jester is looking to take him to court for the money he owes.

Looks like Atlanta can breath again as Killer Mike and Outkast’s big Boi has allegedly squashed their beef which had the men firing lyrical shots at each other for the last couple of years. The animosity between the two came to a physical altercation last March when the fella’s crews faced off at A Town Day. But it was never resolved. Now according to various sources the two former label mates has brushed the dirt off their shoulders and are looking to move onwards and upwards. Dare I say…about damn time?

Sean Combs and Gabrielle Union were amongst party goers who had to run for cover at an after party thrown by Atlanta’s music mogul Jermain Dupri. Allegedly shots were fired and the party at Club Dream and the place was evacuated in the early hours of Saturday morning after a gunman opened fire. As of now only one injury has been reported . The trouble broke out after party goers discovered they had to pay another entry fee if they wanted to go into the VIP area  after paying on the door.

Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta yesterday for driving while under the influence. The So Icy rapper was busted for smoking a lil weed and then when police searched his car they uncovered a small amount of marijuana. He was released from an Atlanta jail after posting $3,000 bail.

Kanye and Young Jeezy teamed up a couple months back to bring you “Put On,” an anthem for the streets that featured ‘Ye using the ubiquitous vocoder. The record’s been getting very heavy rotation for a while now, and with Jeezy’s album The Recession on the way, the two got together to shoot the video for the hit single.
