Over the weekend, Big Sean performed a live show called “Finding Paradise” in front of a hometown crowd at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. During his set, Sean brought out a slew of guests, including Lil Wayne — who performed “A Milli” and “Rich as Fuck” — and fellow Motor City residents Eminem, Dej Loaf, Danny Brown, Royce da 5’9″ and Trick Trick. The aforementioned guests performed a rendition of last year’s “Detroit vs. Everybody”, which appeared on Eminem’s Shady XV compilation. Check out the full live performance after the jump.
The reclusive Jeremih has come out of the shadows today, revealing not one, but two new tracks. It must be a beautiful day wherever Jeremih is today. To be treated to a pair of Jeremih songs in a single day seems improbable, and not at all hyperbolic — this is the guy who hasn’t released a full length project since 2012 with his excellent Late Nights With Jeremih mixtape. Add in one cup of hit single (2014’s “Don’t Tell Em”) and a dash of album anticipation (Late Nights, his first since 2010) and Jeremih has quickly generated a lot of hype. Here he’s got Future and Big Sean to help give “Royalty” that extra oomph. It’s a solid track, and along with “Oui” we’re also hyped for the new Jeremih album here at iHipHop. Although it’ll be some time until there’s new info for Late Nights, we have “Royalty” to hold us over — after the jump!
In Big Sean’s latest visual treatment for a Dark Sky Paradise cut, “Play No Games,” he’s joined by hook heavyweights Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign. The cool thing about this video isn’t that it’s a song by Sean or that Brown and Ty$ were guests — that is almost strictly reserved for the inspiration for the video, which is the Martin Lawrence starring hit show “Martin.” Peep the colorful video filled with stars and cameos (Can you find ’em all?) Check out “Play No Games” after the jump.
If you’re going to be in the Netherlands this summer, you won’t want to miss this one! The lineup for the 2015 WOO HAH! Festival has just been announced and as you can tell from the flier above, it’s going to be epic.
Summer is here and DJ Khaled is up and running, assembling a heavyweight feature list for his new (potential) anthem “How Many Times.” Here Khaled recruits Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Big Sean for “How Many Times” a track Khaled is surely proud of and feels its up there with previous hits “I’m on One” and “No New Friends.” Thing is, Drake is missing in action. Check out DJ Khaled’s “How Many Times” after the jump.
Lil Durk’s debut album Remember My Name is set to drop May 12th via Def Jam. Durk has already shared “Get That Money” and “Different.” Now he’s teaming up with fellow Chicago neighbor (quite literally, the two grew up on the same street) Lil Reese for a freestyle over Big Sean’s “Blessings.” Get at it after the jump.
Big Sean’s much anticipated third studio album Dark Sky Paradise drops today and to tease at some new music the Detroit player is sharing a freestyle entitled “Me, Myself & I” (it’s over Beyonce’s song of the same name.) Needless to say, Big Sean goes in, dropping bars. Rumor has it Sean also disses Kendrick Lamar. Sneak dissing still hot in 2015? Hopefully not. Listen to Big Sean’s “Me, Myself & I” freestyle after the jump.
