The wait is finally over. After weeks of sharing individual bricks (verses) from 36 total rappers, Noisey is now sharing the full version of their epic 42-minute The Rap Monument project. It’s safe to say hip-hop isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. And thankfully it doesn’t have to as there is plenty of talent out there to carry the game for years to come. In addition, there’s always a slew of new talent cropping up in the scene. Be it due to hard work or going viral, dozens of fresh rappers are gaining exposure every year. The corner boy from uptown with a solicitation for potential customers to buy his product, that soft white stuff. His aggressive screaming style here is startling. It’s probably better for him not to sound so mean, but this is rap and he has to. He even put his number on the track but we checked and it’s out of service. On Friday May 3, 2013, the City of Gods held a mansion party, dubbed ‘Bible Study,’ in the Bronx. The party kicked off in the afternoon with Hood Chef manning the grill as he served up barbecue to those in attendance.
