With Smoke DZA and Pete Rock’s full-length collabo, Don’t Smoke Rock, dropping tomorrow, the New York duo has released a new visual via Complex. The site also premiered an exclusive stream of the album.
The seemingly unlikely pairing of Berner and Cam’ron, which is set to drop a joint project, link up with Wiz Khalifa and Young Dolph for a new song off of their forthcoming Contraband EP. Additionally, “Dope Spot” finds Wiz reuniting with Berner and Cam’ron after just appearing on their first single a week ago. The track, which also has a feature from Memphis’ rising star Young Dolph, will appear on Contraband — Berner and Cam’ron’s EP, dropping Tuesday. Check out “Dope Spot” after the jump.
In case you haven’t heard, 2015 kicked off with the return of Harlem’s beloved Dipset. The group dropped a stellar cut in “Have My Money” and followed that up with their “Victory” freestyle, which is equally dope. Their return has sparked some nostalgia and that’s all gravy because we here at iHipHop often find ourselves reminiscing about simpler times. Chief Keef, who was probably no more than eight years old when Dipset dropped their iconic Diplomatic Immunity record, is nevertheless paying tribute to the supergroup. Keef has dropped a track entitled “Dipset.” The tribute to Cam and company is set to appear on Keef’s upcoming DJ Holiday-hosted Dedication mixtape. Check it out after the jump!
In case you haven’t heard, The Diplomats are back. The return of OG Dipset members Jim Jones, Freekey Zeeky, and Juelz Santana together so far has been promising with the Harlem squadron dropping the awesome “Have My Money” loosie and now a gloomy, aggressive, and downright murderous freestyle over The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Victory.” Many have interpreted the lyrics as shots at JAY Z and his website, Life + Times. Listen to The Diplomats’ “Victory” freestyle after the jump.
When Dipset announced they’d be reuniting again and dropping a mixtape many, including myself, didn’t think much of it. It was a classic case of ‘I’ll believe it when I see it.’ And now, I am a believer as Dipset have shared a new track “Have My Money” on Funk Flex’s radio show. “Have My Money” features OG Dipset members Jim Jones, Freekey Zeeky, Juelz Santana, and of course Cam’ron. Listen to the new Dipset track after the jump!
First of the month is here! Well, second of the month to be exact. But semantics put aside you know what that means: new installment to Cam’ron’s 1st of the Month series. It’s the sixth edition and features five total tracks, including “Devastated” and “Million Dolla.” Grab Cam’ron’s 1st of the Month, Vol. 6 after the jump.
First of the mon… well, technically it’s the second of the month but you get the idea. And that means one thing for Harlem rap superstar Cam’ron: dropping the latest installment in his 1st of the Month EP series. If you’ve lost count, he’s currently up to five. The five track EP features guest spots from Wiz Khalifa, Hell Rell, and Smoke DZA. You may stream it below.
Harlem stand up! Smoke DZA links up with his two fellow Harlem, NY residents in A$AP Rocky and Cam’ron. The Jahili Beats produced track “Err Thing Valid” receives a very special Harlem edition remix and frankly it’s terrific to hear three unique voices from the neighborhood all on one track. Check out the track after the jump and keep your ears out for R.F.C.’s album The Outsiders, dropping November 18th.
After dropping the fourth installment to his 1st of the Month series Cam’ron is back, already preparing the drop for the fifth installment. And today he delivers “Touch the Sky” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Smoke DZA. Be on the lookout for the fifth 1st of the Month at the top of November and check out “Touch the Sky” after the jump. Killa!
First of the month is here! And you know what that means: new installment to Cam’ron’s 1st of the Month series. It’s the fourth edition and features five total tracks, including the singles “Snapped” and “Baby Ain’t Mine”. Download and stream after the jump!
As promised Killa Cam will be dropping his fourth installment to the 1st of the Month series tomorrow (as it’s the 1st of the month, duh!) and today he shares a track from that project, “Baby Ain’t Mine”. Continuing with the baby mama drama theme of “Snapped” Cam’ron lets loose and keeps it real on women expecting more from a one night stand, like a relationship and a child. After the jump!
Cam’ron recently unleashed the full version of “Snapped” featuring 2 Chainz off of his forthcoming 1st of the Month after merely teasing it on Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1. And now Cam has a video accompanying the track. General consensus for the video? Ex-girlfriends be trippin’ and will egg you. After the jump.
Cam’ron’s 1st of the Month is due out (appropriately) October 1st and he has recently shared “Snapped” from it. The track was first heard as a snippet on Cam’s Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1. Now Cam has made the full track available with 2 Chainz’s full verse intact. Check out the track after the jump.
Off Cam’s First Of The Month Vol. 2, this is his joint with Nicki. You’d think with their senses of humor and penchant for pink, we might see more work from this duo. Although the video isn’t fancy, there’s bluster to go around, and the simplicity of the visuals give room for Cam and Nicki’s color. It’s also not a bad song, though we wish Fabolous had made it ten years earlier. Watch after the jump.
