Looks like Brooklyn’s Don Diva is ready to get back to some serious work, well if you can call performing at BB Kings in NYC serious work that is. Foxy who spent eight months in prison on a variety of charges will be sharing the bill with Big Daddy Kane and Roxanne Shante. Not sure what to think of that line up really…Big Daddy Kane, Roxanne Shante and Foxy Brown with special guest Spraga Benz doesn’t really sound right to me for some reason.

But anyhow good to see Mami getting herself back out there. The show at the midtown bar and grill is set for this coming Saturday at 8 pm.foxy

A woman was stretchered out of a Three 6 Mafia concert last night and two people arrested as a fight broke out at the LA House of Blues where the ‘Three 6 MafiaHollyhood’ rappers were performing. Allegedly a woman had her leg broken as a result of the stampede which ensued once the LAPD entered the building to shut the concert down.

DJ Paul and Juicy J moved out to Hollywood after winning their Oscar for the track It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp from the movie Hustle and Flow in  2006. DJ Paul even informed IHipHop.com in a previous interview that he found the people of Hollywood ‘very welcoming and actually enjoyed the way of living out West. ‘

KANYE KILLS IT

It looks like anyone who went to a show this weekend was mos def getting their monies worth. Kanye killed it at the closing of the infamous Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Playing to a home crowd never did anyone any harm and after delivering track after track from his three offerings, Kanye had the crowd paying homage to the ‘lady who drove him to Chicago when he was only three’…his late Momma.

While on the NY leg of the Rock the Bells event out at Jones Beach, crowds were whipped into a frenzy as artist after artist hit the stage delivering classic after classic. Slick Rick, MOP, ATCQ, DJ Premier, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Busta Rhymes were all in attendance plus a whole lot more. But what really got the crowd going was when Jay Z appeared on stage to accompany Nas for Black Republicans. Good times to be had by all, what Summer is all about really. jaynas
