After all that trash he talked when it comes to Madden 09, Bow Wow really had to bow down to Game when the Compton rapper took the $100,000 prize money (donated to a charity of his choice) in their recent face off. Did Game cheat? Did this beat watching the VMAs? Probably a positive response to both of those questions.
He might have been reaching out to all those rappers he has had words for over the last few years in NYC the other night as he took to the stage at the Irving Plaze, but perhaps Game needed to deal with mending bridges a little closer to home. Stemming from an altercation at a family funeral with his cousin back in July, the rapper now faces charges of criminal battery which could see him back in jail due to currently being on probation for a firearms charge brought against him.
Game and his cousin got into an altercation which saw the LAX rapper punch Robert ‘Kirky’ Kirkwood in the face at the funeral of his sister. Game had allegedly offered to help the family pay for the funeral but had avoided footing the bill when it needed to be paid.
Sources close to Game hope that the family members will rectify the issue and the charges will be dropped.
If you were at the Irving Plaza last night watching Game perform were in for a serious treat. The Compton rapper was obviously sending out a few signs with those who accompanied him on stage as he and his Black Wall Street crew celebrated the release of his third album LAX which hit shelves yesterday.
Game was joined by plenty of NY rappers including Jim Jones, Maino, Fat Joe, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. But surprisingly enough I thought was the presence of Kool Herc who Game brought out on stage at the packed out show. Joe Budden was also in the house and of course so was the other G Unit member who jumped ship…Young Buck.
Just wouldn’t have been a show if the two out of towners didn’t mention former label mates 50, Banks and Yayo of course. But all in all a good night appeared to be had by all and Buck was quick to tell Joe he had no beef. So I guess 50 was really pulling strings on the Elephant in the Sand mixtape which was only put out a few months back where Buck openly dissed Joey Crack. Hmmm ok
OK a good friend of mine sent me this, not sure where it came from but had to post it as it made a Monday morning seem a little brighter when I read it. This list people is just who Game allegedly mentions on his up and coming album LAX. We all know he likes to name drop from time to time, but if this is a bona fide list, dude isn’t leaving much room for any other words. Shocked he doesn’t mention Banks, Yayo or Vida though

…surprise surprise LAX. The tape called LAX Touchdown from the three uniteers is supposed to drop August 26th, just to stir up a little more controversy between the Queens collective and Game. But just when is this Banks tape going to drop, we have been hearing music from it now for what seems like months but still no tape…and now this. Word on the street…again is that Banks is looking to get off G Unit but word from the camp is that that is nothing but a rumor and Banks is staying loyal.
Seriously the ego has landed. We had Jay Z last week and now the Compton rapper is saying that Dre’s project would be an ‘injustice to the producer if it didn’t feature him (Game). As according to Game himself, he quite simply is..the West Coast. I truly hope for his sake LAX is his best album to date as for all the trash this dude is talking you know people are just waiting in the wings to take aim at him.
Game knows how to stir up some buzz for himself I give him that. In a recent interview on Kiss 104.7 the outspoken rapper said that Jigga has to be literally shaking in his shoes when it comes to having beef with him. Game is convinced that Jigga just doesn’t want it with him even though Jigga said while in London this Summer that ‘Game should just commit suicide’.
As he talked to Chino the Kiss co-host, Game sounded quite shocked that ‘Lips,’ as he now calls Jigga, had made comments about him but he was giving himself a pat on the back for killing G- Unit thats for sure. Will J buy into the hype and come at Game like you know the Compton rapper wants him to? He even said it himself, he has his album dropping on August 26th and is happy to lyrically destroy anyone who comes up against him. Alrighty then
Here is the official video for Games joint with Travis Barker – Dope Boys. At a video shoot for his joint with Weezy, Game had the support of Young Buck who came through to the set. Nice to see these boys getting along
Is Game coming out the face with this line in his joint with Lil Wayne? This line is coming from the leaked track My Pain which hit the net this week. I guess he never got a response from Dre, so now he is going after Em? Thoughts, opinions, comments..leave them all below.
All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them/so there ain’t no proof I walked through 8 Mile/ And so since it ain’t no proof, I’ll never walk through 8 Mile/ sometimes I think about my life with my face down/ then I see my sons and put on my Kanye smile
