Last year footage surfaced of Freddie Gibbs and Mike Dean working “in the lab” and ever since then very little additional information has been given regarding that session. Now Gangsta Gibbs has shared a new track entitled “Sellin’ Dope” which gives artist credit to Mike Dean. Our guess is Mike Dean, who is a hip-hop producer and certainly no rapper (best known for working with Kanye West), produced the cut. The track is absolutely menacing, both in production and in overall concept/theme as Dean’s ominous ghastly beat perfectly suits Gibbs’ aggressive flow and hyper-realistic subject matter (yes, sellin’ dope).
