Ludacris is prepping the release of his Burning Bridges project, which is due out December 16th, and today he shares a beastly freestyle over O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo” instrumental. Luda delivers an impressive freestyle, giving the “CoCo” beat some much needed swagger. Listen after the jump.
Thanksgiving is here! Thanksgiving is here! But it’s not all fun and games and stuffing your face with food. While we sit comfortably in our humble abode with our loved ones, celebrating with a feast, there are those who go out and make sure to help those in need. Sadly, however, rappers aren’t exactly the first profession that’d cross your mind as being “helpful” as these are merely gangsters, drug dealers, and entertainers, right? Wrong. For example Birdman and Cash Money are participating in their 20th annual Turkey Giveaway this week. And that’s not all, as rappers like Jeezy, T.I., and Ludacris regularly find themselves helping local Atlanta natives enjoy their Thanksgiving as well. So, we here at iHipHop decided we’d attempt to dispel the myths of rappers being careless and lazy, and showcase their good deeds, by assembling a picture slideshow of them giving back on Thanksgiving. Enjoy and happy Thanksgiving!
Ludacris has been on a roll lately, dropping many hot freestyles. First it was the deliverance of the unexpected, renegading Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N***a”, followed by Makonnen’s “Tuesday”, then he snapped on Pusha T’s “Numbers on the Board”. Most recently he hit up Jay Z’s “Tom Ford” and now he’s finally sharing some original content with “Good Lovin'” featuring contemporary R&B crooner, Miguel. The new track will serve as the first single off Luda’s forthcoming Burning Bridges EP dropping in December. Listen after the jump.
Ludacris continues his streak of dropping fire freestyles over notable hip-hop tracks of the last year. After sharing the best “Hot N***a” freestyle and dropping his “Tuesday” freestyle, Luda went ahead and snapped on Pusha’s “Numbers on the Board”. Now he’s gifting the fans with that braggadocios ish with “Tom Ford”. Listen after the jump and be on the lookout for Luda’s Burning Bridges EP dropping in December.
Ludacris has already excused his absence when he ripped Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N***a” a new one, then he proceeded to give Makonnen’s smash hit “Tuesday” a bit of the ol’ hardcore gangsta treatment it so desperately needed. So, we suppose it’s only natural that Luda continues his recent streak by going off on another ‘throwback’ track. This time he’s spitting bars over Pusha T’s clicky-clanky industrial “Numbers on the Board” beat from his excellent My Name Is My Name album. Listen after the jump.
Ludacris has been on a roll lately. Bet you thought you’d never live to hear anyone say that again, huh? Well, it’s true. After dropping a killer freestyle to Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N***a” (quite easily the best out of everyone who did a remix/freestyle) and Riff Raff’s “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” Luda is back for more. This time he delivers a freestyle over iLoveMakonnen’s smash hit “Tuesday”. Listen after the jump.
Yo Gotti’s street single “Errrbody” gets an official remix from Lil Wayne and Ludacris. The remix drops just as Gotti is prepping the release of his forthcoming The Art of Hustle project, which is slated to drop before the year’s end. Listen to the “Errrbody” remix after the jump.
In case you’ve been wondering where Ludacris has been he excuses his absence at the beginning of his “Hot N***a” freestyle. And although Luda may seem a tad bit late to the party (Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N***a” was released as a single in July) he delivers a focused and downright aggressive freestyle. We must say, it’s a welcome addition to all the lousy “Hot N***a” freestyles and remixes we’ve heard so far this year. Luda’s still got it, that’s for sure. Listen after the jump.
The year’s not even over and Drake is at #11 on this list, with $10.5M banked already. King Kendrick ain’t far off his heels with $9M in total. 50 Cent has also tumbled way down this list as compared to a few years ago. It looks like the young guns are taking their official place and not just some “Saved-By-The-Bell-The-New-Class” knockoffs either. Read the full list after the jump. Hat tip to TSS.
