This album sounds like it will be jumpy and feverish while not necessarily different. “I Like It” is a new boast from Meek and another of many middle fingers to the norm. Then again, his standard has been clear for a while…party and bullsh*t over snappy beats. Mac Miller can get with this. Check it after the jump.
Didn’t know it was possible to darken Havoc’s “Quiet Storm” but this does it…with a manic Meek shouting over a horror-core chirp. It’s an unsure flossing song in the run-up to an album (Dreams Worth More Than Money) that may arrive with its creator in prison. Maybe that’s the happiest place for a Philly outlaw though. Check the track after the jump.
The only thing this video is missing is Meek Mill as a muppet. I’m sure he would have refused that idea in the name of keeping it “real” though. There are a lot of muppets in it anyway, and that makes an infidelity song way more weird. Take a look for yourself after the jump.
MMG is Rick Ross’s solid contribution to the rap game because it extends the power of his influence to recruit other great street artists to urban radio rotation. His two marquee acts are in a feud that Meek Mill set off on social media by calling Wale corny. Check the tweets after the jump.
Meek Mill hit the Hot 97 studios this morning for a sit-down with Ebro and Cipha Sounds in which Meek spoke on his upcoming LP, Dreams Worth More Than Money, why he’s done with mixtapes, his probation and more. Read More
The MMG boys are back. Meek Mill and Rozay premiere the visual for “Off The Corner,” a new release which may end up on Meek’s upcoming Dreams Worth More Than Money project. This is hot.
Meek hits the studio and goes in over A$AP Rocky’s “Ghetto Symphony” instrumental in a freestyle entitled “Dreams Worth More Than Money,” which is the title of the Philly spitter’s upcoming sophomore LP. Maybe get Meek a V-Don beat for the album because he sounds particularly ferocious over this.
