Rihanna Gets High On Love… Literally

Rihanna released her video for “We Found Love” today and it’s pretty damn intense. After getting kicked out an Irish farmer’s property, we could guessed this video would be pretty racy. The video showcases a destructive romance (hmmm.. sound familar?)between Rih-Rih and her man who is the boxer-model, Dudley O’Shaughnessy (who looks eerily A LOT like Chris Brown). And I couldn’t help but wonder if the scene of the two arguing in the car alluded to the fight she had with Chris years ago. The video tackles the subject of crazy love gone wrong mixed in with drug abuse, which is something Rihanna loves to poke fun at. This song is the first off her upcoming album, Talk The Talk. Rih said a few words about the video: “We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done. It’s all about love and love being like a drug, you definitely get that from this. Rihanna on WhoSay

Monica Rewinds Time With “Anything (To Find You)”

The happily married Monica wants to show us all that marrying a b-ball star was not the end of her career. With this new hit with Ricky Rozay, she wants to take us back to when she was hot… the ’90s! “Anything (To Find You)” is the first single off her seventh studio album, New Life. Truly taking it back, she samples Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya” in this Missy-Elliot produced track. Rocking bamboo earrings, rope chains, and dancers with rainbow leggings (the true essence of 90′s hip hop style), I was waiting for Lil’ Kim to show up… But unfortunately, she was removed from the track. No love for the Queen B, but with Rozay’s hardly memorable cameo, this might generate more views. I’m not going to lie, I enjoy the track, but can Monica compete with today’s hottest? Watch the vid below and see for yourself.
