We reported over the weekend about the backlash Nicki Minaj incurred because of her choice of cover art for the song “Lookin A*s N*ggas” from her forthcoming album The Pink Print. After removing the cover art and offering an apology to the offended parties you would think Nicki was in the clear and the discussion would turn to whether her song was actually good or not. Big Sean’s Hall Of Fame has not lived up to his grand expectations…the kind you have when you name your sophomore album Hall Of Fame, that is. But he is not without talent and some cleverness to boot so he’s giving fans and other viewers a chance to get to know him better (since it doesn’t appear that they’re buying anything he’s selling). He’s but a few Nicki Minaj and Kanye West features away from another hit and then — BAM! — famous again. Hang in there, Sean.
The year’s not even over and Drake is at #11 on this list, with $10.5M banked already. King Kendrick ain’t far off his heels with $9M in total. 50 Cent has also tumbled way down this list as compared to a few years ago.
