New Atlanta’s OG Maco broke out onto the scene with his viral smash “U Guessed It!” but the madman hasn’t stopped putting in work as he dropped the OG Maco EP late 2014 as well as the stellar BREATHE EP. In addition, OG Maco’s affiliation with Quality Control (the label that houses such acts as Migos) is keeping the rapper busy and at the forefront of the New Atlanta movement. Now, Maco teams up with Austin Millz for “New Money” off of his Searching For Gotham compilation. Peep “New Money” after the jump.

OG Maco, the New Atlanta rapper who is perhaps best known for his viral smash “U Guessed It” from earlier this year, has just released his BREATHE EP, the followup to his aggressive and uncompromising OG Maco EP. The BREATHE EP drastically differs from Maco’s previous aforementioned music in that it finds Maco rapping with a clear mind, on civil rights issues in America right now (those being the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, respectively.) The three tracks “Get Down,” “Do Better,” and “Riot” are undoubtedly OG Maco’s most introspective moments in his short catalog and it’s refreshing to hear a quintessential “trap rapper” attempt something different for a change. OG Maco, the Atlanta rapper behind the viral hit “U Guessed It”, is going at the featured artist on the aforementioned track (as well as collaborator on him Give ‘Em Hell project) on his latest track bluntly (and harshly) titled “Fat F**k”. Pretty cruel. Apparently Maco and Key! still work on a professional level but are at odds on a personal level. Interesting. Listen to the supposed Key! diss from OG Maco after the jump.

Atlanta native Reese teams up with (bit*h, you guessed it!) fellow Atlantan OG Maco and West Coasters Casey Veggies and DJ Mustard for “Parade”. Frankly we think this collaboration is a match made in heaven seeing how Atlanta and Los Angeles are undoubtedly the two hottest regions in hip-hop at the moment. Listen after the jump.
