According to Rolling Stone, Kanye West is the biggest money maker in Hip-Hop this year when it comes to touring. The Chicago MC has amassed over $31.6 million while out on the road this year, ranking him fourth in the top ten Rock and Pop Tours. The only other urban tour to earn a mention is Jay Z and Mary J Blige who came in just behind West with $30.7 million.
The list is pretty much dominated by rock acts including Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, The Police and Bon Jovi who top the lists. The Mid year report also indicated that CD sales have also declined 16.3% so far this year. However Lil Wayne is holding onto the most sales for the year so far with his album The Carter III.
