Migos have come a long way since “Versace” and they’ve got more hits on deck for 2015. Before they release their highly-anticipated debut album YRN: tha Album later this summer (it’ll be arriving July 31st) they’re sharing some new music for the streets. Days after releasing his QC the Label: Free da Gang mixtape, DJ Champ decides to release a no DJ version of one of the project’s standouts: the Murda-produced “Conversation.” Check it out after the jump.
Migos’ forthcoming album YRN tha Album is due out July 31st (after a series of unfortunate pushbacks) and the Atlanta duo (member Offset is currently incarcerated on drug and gun charges) is looking to feed the streets with a new one in “I Just Wanna.” “I Just Wanna” appears on the Trap-A-Holics Real Trap Sh!t: Run It Up Editon mixtape, which is out on LiveMixtapes. Listen to “I Just Wanna” after the jump.
Freestyle isn’t the first word that comes to mind when you think of the Atlanta trio Migos. But goddamn, watching this Tim Westwood freestyle it’s indicative that the trio of Quavo, Takeoff and Offset have incredible chemistry as they go off for 17 full minutes. Straight. No breaks. The three YRN: Tha Album rappers dropped bars over “Grindin’,” “OG Bobby Johnson,” “Money Baby,” “No Type,” “Computers” and more. Check it out after the jump.
Migos (Quavo, Offset, Takeoff) are teasing the release of their forthcoming debut full length album (hot off dropping consistent mixtape after consistent mixtape — not to mention their hit single “Versace” was certainly no “one hit wonder”) which arrives June 16th. They’ve already shared one single in “One Time” (get at it here) and by the looks of this new loosie entitled “Stankin'” it’s staying that way for the time being. The new cut features one time (no pun intended) Atlanta frontrunner Trinidad James. Sadly, he’s fallen onto some hard times as far as his relevance in the game. Anyway, get at the new Migos track after the jump!
Migos’ forthcoming album YRN: Tha Album will be out June 16th. The trio of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff sat down with HipHopDX to discuss the aforementioned album. During the interview the trio predicted that their album will go diamond. Yep, diamond. Check out the full interview via HipHopDX after the jump.
Nardwuar the Human Serviette (or simply Nardwuar) has been interviewing musicians, celebrities and politicians for god knows how long! But in his latest interview Nardwuar met up with New Atlanta’s hottest trio, Migos. During his SXSW interview with Migos (Quavo, Takeoff and Offset) Nardwuar asked questions pertaining jewelry, fried chicken and… smells. Yep, it was most certainly a strange encounter. Check out the full video interview after the jump. Also, Migos’ YRN: Tha Album hits stores June 16th.
Migos have just about conquered the mixtape circuit after appearing on the season with 2013’s breakout Y.R.N. (Young Rich N***as) they then proved to not be one hit wonders dropping their No Label 2 mixtape containing two radio singles in “Handsome & Wealthy” and “Fight Night.” After sharing their Rich N***a Timeline late last year, Migos are now ready to dominate the album format as they prep the release of their forthcoming YRN 2 album. Here they’re sharing its first single, “One Time.” Listen after the jump.
New Atlanta’s power trio Migos return for their second official mixtape of 2014 (following the excellent No Label 2) in the hilariously titled Rich Ni**a Timeline. The new mixtape contains eighteen no frills exotic trap bangers equipped with amazing, over-the-top adlibs and trademark triplet flows. Also, from what we have gathered, there are also absolutely no features present on Rich Ni**a Timeline. Quite a refreshing stance in modern hip-hop, we must say. Stream and download Rich Ni**a Timeline after the jump. Quavo! Ugh!
Don’t you dare callout Migos for rockin’ fake jewelry. Don’t you dare try and rob them, either. Migos set the record straight on their latest track “Fake Watch Busta”, which takes its name from the Instagram account of the same name that outs celebrities and rappers for owning allegedly fake jewelry, particular of the wristwear variety. Peep the track after the jump.
