This mumbling club tune is the innovative use of voices to do something tried and true: inspire twerking. With the lewd lyrics dripping into these tingling beat you can almost ignore how vulgar the pictures are to sit back and feel the lap dance implied in it. Check it after the jump.
Sing it, Wiz! “Promises” is latter stage Khalifa, with a lot more tender husband vibes than any of his other singles. His voice is not intolerable and with Auto-Tune it seeps into the track calmly. Check out the bluesy Wiz Khalifa after the jump.
H/t The Masked Gorilla for this, the lead single from the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign add their cowabunga Taylor Gang surfer swerve to this soundtrack song. Juicy J also “got your back like a turtle shell.” Good to know. Check the video for the reptile movie after the jump.
What makes a summer song? It’s sweaty but never sad about it. The right summer smash makes you put the double-decker barbecue plate on your lawn chair, pour out something cool and get close to the speakers. It’s naked and unashamed, of course. The song’s gotta be loud. Not volume-wise either. You need to be able to open that sunroof, lower the windows on the highway and still annoy passersby with the bass drop. They’re great songs because they’re disposable songs. A summer jam is the wet wipe of music: refreshing as it is fleeting and oh so useful at the right time.
Load these songs into your playlist and be the DJ you always wanted for the weekend.

Fresh off the release of his 28 Grams tape, Wiz Khalifa pays a visit to Power 105′s Breakfast Club program. Wiz speaks on the new mixtape, his upcoming “We Dem Boyz” remix with Nas, getting arrested and more.
