Atlanta rappers Migos and Young Thug have teamed up for a new track called “Crime Stoppers,” which will appear on their forthcoming MigoThuggin mixtape. Listen to the track above, via Pitchfork. Listen after the jump.
Veteran Atlanta rapper Yung Ralph will be dropping a new mixtape I Am Juugman on December 8th, and to support the forthcoming tape he’s sharing “Bands” featuring fellow A-Towner Young Thug. Check out Yung Ralph’s “Bands” produced by London on da Track after the jump.
It was just yesterday when Atlanta rapper Young Thug and frequent collaborator, producer Metro Boomin, were embroiled in a rap beef, of sorts. The two have since patched things up to release a new song called “Hercules”. A las, Atlanta can sleep soundly knowing everything between Young Thug, Metro Boomin, and (inadvertently) Future is A-ok. Listen to Young Thug’s “Hercules” after the jump.
Young Thug, the great young hope from Atlanta, has released his highly-anticipated mixtape, Slime Season. It features appearances from Migos’ Quavo and Offset and also Lil Wayne, whom he is allegedly beefing with. Download and listen after the jump.
Young Thug is one of rap’s most polarizing figures — you either love him or you hate him. But either way you cut it, it doesn’t matter to Thug. This 23-year-old Atlanta rapper has love for himself, and it’s evermore evident in the visuals for his latest song, “Best Friend,” which finds Thug hanging out hooking up with his himself, being his own driver, and uhh, meal, too. Craziness. Frankly, if you’ve been paying attention you’d know Thug has yet to disappoint (musically, speaking) and it appears as though his forthcoming mixtape with London on da Track, Slime Season, won’t either. Check out the visuals for Young Thug’s “Best Friend” after the jump.
Over the last few weeks T.I. has been hinting at the release of a new project with the hashtag 9/11. And today is the day. T.I., or Tip in this case, is back. He’s dropped a new project in Da Nic EP and is also sharing a track off it in “Peanut Butter & Jelly” featuring Young Thug and Young Dro. The track is also produced by frequent Thug collaborator, London on da Track. Listen to “Peanut Butter & Jelly” after the jump.
Tinashe’s got a new album on the way later this year, it’s called Joyride. After dropping last year’s Aquarius, her debut album, she’s coming out with new music already. And today she’s sharing “Party Favor,” which is set to appear on Joyride. It features Young Thug, who just killed his feature on Travi$ Scott’s Rodeo, and is produced by Boi-1da. (The Thug song in question, “Maria I’m Drunk” also features Justin Bieber. It’s lit.) Check out Tinashe’s “Party Favors” after the jump.
Young Thug will be dropping quite a few projects relatively soon. Firstly, his debut album, HiTunes, will be out in September (the 14th to be exact.) Then there’s Slime Season, his collaborative mixtape with producer London on da Track — that’s coming real soon. And as promised, Thug is sharing “Again,” the first single from the forthcoming Slime Season. Check out the video after the jump…
I can easily pick up on a fake/fair-weather fan. I suppose Young Thug’s fans are a good example of this as the 22-year-old Atlanta rapper continues to gain more and more traction as time goes by. Many of his so-called “fans” are quite disappointed that the emcee didn’t drop his highly-anticipated Slime Season mixtape on July 4th, as initially promised. But, really? He just dropped Barter 6 a few months ago — a project I am still enjoying immensely. But alas, Thug wasn’t just gonna keep you parched, as he drops the visuals for his Barter 6 cut, “With That.” Needless to say it’s a trip. Check it out after the jump.
Although Young Thug didn’t keep his promise on dropping his Slime Season mixtape on July 4th (unlike his idol, Lil Wayne, who dropped FWA as promised) he is sharing a new track. While “Paradise” is a loosie track from Thug, it’s bound to hold over even some of his most fervent fans. Check out Thug’s “Paradise” after the jump.
