A cut from his recently-released The Last Rocket album.

On November 2nd, Migos’ unsung hero, Takeoff, proved that he can not only stand on his own two, but that he might very well be the group’s best talent with the release of his debut project, The Last Rocket.

A 12-track effort, The Last Rocket displays Takeoff’s undeniable lyrical abilities and flow, which were brought to a head on the album’s lead single, “Last Memory”. Last night, Takeoff took his talents to the late night stage by performing this track on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

Embodying the space themes explored on the album, Takeoff walked out to an elated crowd wearing a half-unzipped astronaut suit in front of a spacey carousel backdrop. Through the mist rising from the stage and the onslaught of vivid surrounding lights, Takeoff shines like the star he always knew he was, and the one the public is finally getting acquainted with. The rocket has finally landed.
