This edition of The Come Up spotlights a rising talent out of the recently fertile West Coast hip-hop scene.  With the increasing buzz for artists such as Jay Rock, Nipsey Hussle, Fashawn and Pac Div, there has been another artist gaining momentum on a lower level, but is positioning himself for success.

Skeme is the latest artist to emerge from the Inglewood area of Los Angeles, embodying more of the gangsta spirit that we typically associate with the area minus the high body count in his songs.  His lyricism and grind got our attention and others such as DJ Skee and Baron Davis, who is heavily co-signing the rising MC.

He recently dropped Skeme Of Things 2 (Download Here)  in June and has been hitting the net with new music consistently.  You have been warned, so be on the lookout for him and don’t be surprised once he’s in the position to blow sooner than later.
