-So I believe this is the second leak off Malice In Wonderland.  I think the album is dropping sometime in November or December.  I actually consider myself to be a pretty big Snoop fan, but he’s just reached a point in his career where I think he needs to hold back on dropping new music.  He should just tour a lot of his catalog of hits.  Plus he’s such a name brand he can make tons of money off just being himself on TV and things of that nature.  He recently acquired a creative director position at a   revitalized Priority records.  Snoop doesn’t get enough credit for his knowledge of music so this is a good look except for one thing.  The labels are completely failing and won’t exist in the near future.  Either way this track is ok.  The Dream on the hook never hurts.

-Another leak of the god mc’s album The 7th Seal.  The first leak “Holy Are You” was a lot better.  I don’t know how Maino scammed himself onto a Rakim track.  I think Maino is a very street smart guy that has a lot of interesting things to say.  He’s a character, and definitely comes off as a “real” dude.  At the end of the day the dude just can’t rap for sh*t though.

Curren$y and Max B on the same track?  Obviously the track can’t be bad.  Max B really is the master of creating a hook.  Unfortunately Amalgam Digital forced some buster named Young Riot on this to.  Whatever, it still comes off as a decent track.

Lupe Fiasco spitting over a Jimmy Hendrix instrumental?  If anyone can do it, it’s Lupe.  Lupe doesn’t habitually drop music on the internet, but he is one of my favorite mc’s.  Supposedly he released this track in reaction to the “Hottest MC’s” list, but he doesn’t seem to address it directly.  I’m just happy Lupe released something.  He’s just a very creative dude who is always in a different lane compared to most in hip-hop.

-So the three below tracks are off DJ Kay Slay‘s Blockstars mixtape.  They all suck, but Cam & Jim Jones are involved so I had to give them to you.

-I’m absolutely horrified right now.  Why?  I think I’m starting to like OJ Da Juiceman.  This song is just so catchy. “Eh, Eh, Eh, Eh, Ok!”  His music has no redeeming qualities whatsoever beside it makes me feel smart. “When I get big, Imma do it big“.  This guys mastery of the English language never ceases to amaze me. lol.

This Dam-Funk song is in here just for their effective use of porno sax in the song.  This has a heavy 80’s & funk vibe, and I like it.  Check it out.
