What’s good people? Hopefully everyone had a good holiday weekend, and stayed safe. We’re going to mix up the format again, because well I do what I want that’s why. No I was just away for a couple days so I have so many tracks for your downloading enjoyment that it would be way too time consuming as well as boring to write about each one. So I’m going to bullet information I feel you should know about. Feel free to scroll down, skip the reading, and download some music already.
-The song from St. Laz & Opium is just one of those underground type tracks that I think are ill. Laz is an independent artist out of
-We got a Busta track that goes pretty hard and has Weezy and Ludacris on it, if those sorts of people interest you. I mainly wanted to talk about the fact Busta supposedly got dropped from Interscope after having a heated argument with the President Jimmy Iovine. I’m sure the argument revolved around the fact Busta thinks he’s much cooler then he really is, and like some of the older heads in the game refuses to accept the changes in the industry. He was probably yelling at Jimmy for all the lack of promotion, but when you album is only going to sell 120,000 units because you can just download it for free on the internet a record company is unwilling to spend any money on marketing unless they are going to re-coup the money with sales. This is just the awkward transitional time in music where the way it gets distributed is changing. It’s going to suck for 2 years while everyone just figures out they need to do everything digitally on the internet rather then wasting your time with the labels. At least that’s my take on it.
-The Hot Boyz finally came out with a track, and it’s pretty good. It’s just interesting because everyone’s style has evolved since the “Wobbitty Wobbitty” days. I’m a fan of all three dudes Weezy, Juvenile, and B.G. (Turk is still locked up), so I wanna hear more. They just can’t let
-This track with Naledge is sick. He recorded in it
-Hey did I just see a Jadakiss a.k.a Rap’s Marlo Stanfield track? Nods. Downloads. Puts on Ipod. Enough said.
-This XV joint with Mickey Factz & Jesse Boykins III might be my favorite track of the day. XV is this dude out of
As always be sure to check out the audio section for the rest of the songs that came out today. I’m now accepting music from anyone that wants to send it in. Put the name of the song and artist(s) in the title of the email and any additional info in the body of the email. Just send one or maybe two tracks. It needs to be in an mp3 format and please only send me good stuff. You can send it to featuredaudio@crackspace.net. Looking forward to hearing what you got.
