What’s up? Were going really heavy on the underground stuff today because it was the best stuff that came out. I kind of like the format where I bullet my incoherent ramblings on rap music and you can choose to read what I think or just listen to the music at the bottom of the page and judge for yourself what you think is hot. If you think someone is the truth then click the link and download the thing already.
-The first track is from
-The next two track are interconnected because their part of the same organization. I said yesterday that St. Laz is the truth, and one of the guys I actively pursue to hear more from. I think Pottersfield is the group that Laz is in, however I did some myspace creepin, and am still a little confused on the connection. All I know is that they’re connected and that both tracks are those underground street tracks that I personally can never get enough of. Scope them both if you like real rap music.
-We got Mic Terror on “I’m An Asshole”, and it’s definitely my favorite track of the day. I like the production of the song, and the ultimate message is I’m an asshole and I’m going to do what I want. This is a message I most definitely have to co-sign personally. Being an asshole is tons of fun, and I don’t care what anyone says. It just pisses me off that people call me an asshole when I’m simply honest. I guess the truth hurts to some people. Mic Terror is out of the Chi and got a “Urb’s Next 100” co-sign if print magazines opinions matter to you.
-The last song I’m going to briefly comment on is the Lil Keke joint “What It’s Made For” which was produced by Bangaladesh who created the now infamous “A Millie” track. The hook on the track is “show me what that pussy made for”. If you don’t think that is awesome, you probably won’t think the song is too cool either. Be sure to check out the other tracks I didn’t grace with my comments.
As always be sure to check out the audio section for the rest of the songs that came out today. I’m now accepting music from anyone that wants to send it in. Put the name of the song and artist(s) in the title of the email and any additional info in the body of the email. Just send one or maybe two tracks. It needs to be in an mp3 format and please only send me good stuff. You can send it to featuredaudio@crackspace.net. Looking forward to hearing what you got.
