-It’s looking like Scrappy’s album The Grustle is on ice for a minute.  So he is going to drop an EP titled Daja Vu in the near future and this is off it.  This actually might be my favorite track of the day.  Be sure to check my pretty hilarious interview with Scrappy.

-This Shawnna joint came out last week but I forgot to post it in a Dose.  I’ve never been mad at Shawnna.  I remember her absolutely killing the Ludacris show she performed at when I was like 15.  She has since parted ways with Ludacris’ DTP to join T-Pain’s Nappy Boy entertainment.  This is his first single with her new team.  I fux with it.  We’ll have to sit back and see how things pan out.

-This Game track leaked with no info on it.  I guess it could possibly be off his upcoming R.E.D. album which is dropping 6/15.  Might be unfinished and K-Young is just laying down the reference for a bigger name singer to come through and lace the hook.  I thought the song was good regardless.  Life is pretty much all about diamonds and if you don;t have any you should consider yourself a failure.

-Redman seems to become of the few “older” rappers who understand the new generation of music consumption.  He’s just been letting go of tracks on twitter.  Hopefully he keeps it up.  Can’t be mad at new free Redman.

-Snoop hops on the remix to the single off Kurupt’s fourth solo album called Streetlights.  I don’t want to say Kurupt is underrated, but he may not get enough credit for remaining consistent.  He rarely makes music that I would categorize as sub par.

-I gotta give Tyga credit for not being a complete Young Money weed carrier.  He links up with Chris Brown for a track.  You really need to check out Stylezz’s recent story on Chris Brown.  If I was famous enough to just cop knobs on the d-floor from girls, I would do it all the time.

-This Sam Adams kid is realizing that no one in hip-hop f*cks with him so he went out and bought a pretty mediocre Curren$y verse.  It’s so transparent what he’s trying to do.

-Here is the first single off Big Sean’s debut album Finally Famous.  I’m a Big Sean fan for sure, but I don’t think this is the best look for the single.  I just don’t see radio spinning this the way the culture of radio is working these days.  Hopefully it works out though.  I really wish him the best.
