Oh brother. 

According to the good folks over at trusty TMZ, the Hip-Hop legend was bagged for the DUI, and then allegedly tried to run from the cops. Sources told TMZ that his car was pulled over for a traffic violation, and when the officers approached; he seemed to be under the influence of something.

From there, a breathalyzer was attempted, and then Too $hort supposedly took off running, where he tripped, and was promptly thrown into the back of a police cruiser. The story then continues as sources said $hort Dawg tried to dump drugs in the back of the cruiser.

In the end, the police got their breathalyzer, and he blew a .09. The legal limit is .08. This story is far from over.
