The Detroit rapper is supposed to be signing with 50. The sad thing about this is that Christian Mathis AKA Trick Trick never wanted to sign a major deal in the first place. The only reason why he signed to Universal/Motown was because Jimmy Iovine wouldn’t release Eminem to appear on Tricks single Welcome to Detroit if he wasn’t signed to a major label. Talk about label politics people…then of course his album wasn’t marketed and promoted and literally came and went without anyone really paying attention. But is G Unit the best choice for him when we see their marketing and promotions or rather lack of them.
