It’s been a couple of years since we’ve heard from Trina. Her last album, “The Glamorest Life,” saw one hit, “Here We Go” with Kelly Rowland, and then quietly disappeared. Now Trina is gearing up to drop her new album, “The Baddest B*tch II,” on August 14 and is hoping to make a bigger impact.
"I put 150 percent into this album. I’m stepping my game up like 10 notches," Trina told Billboard.com. "I have a thousand different emotions and feelings and I show it all in this project. I didn’t want to be sad, just happy and high spirited, so people can see Trina really grew up."
The album features contributions from Cool & Dre, Scott Storch, Red Spyders, The Runners, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Plies and few surprises that she won’t reveal at the moment. The first single, “I’m Single Again,” hit radio this weekend with the second single possibly being, “I Wish I Never Met You,” which may drop around the album’s release.
