Tyler Perry Takes His Career Intergalatic

Tyler Perry his set to star in J.J. Abrams "Star Trek".  He has been cast as the head of the Starfleet Academy.  The movie also stars  Zoe Saldana ( "Guess Who" , and "Drumline"), Eric Bana ("Hulk", and Troy), and Winona Ryder. Shooting started in November for a planned Christmas Day 2008 release.
