Scratch, better known as the beatboxing member of The Roots, has filed a lawsuit against pop artist P!nk (real name Alecia Moore) over some unpaid services. Scratch (real name Kyle Jones) filed complaints for copyright infringement, breach of implied contract, among other counts.
Scratch claims that P!nk never paid him for his performance on “Respect,” from her multiple platinum-certified 2001 album M!ssundaztood. He’s seeking $717,600 in damages.
