On the heels of the release of his latest mixtape, Slime Flu 3, Vado has begun making the rounds to several press outlets.  Yesterday morning he stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and dropped an interesting tidbit about a potential supergroup.  During his on-air segment, Angela Yee asked Vado if has ever considered forming a group with other MCs, to which Vado replied that he had a conference call with Lloyd Banks, Fabolous and Juelz Santana about starting a group, but it never came to fruition due to everyone’s busy schedule.  “To be honest, we spoke on it one time,” he said.  He elaborated, “we was all on a conference call. We was reaching out to Fab. We was trying to get the commission, like a group. We was tryin’ to form some superhero type…But you know people got they albums…So we just fell back with it.”

Addressing the rumors, Vado told The Breakfast Club that it’s highly likely that he will sign to DJ Khaled’s We The Best imprint.  For those thinking that Vado may have a deal with Dispet, the Harlem rapper went on record to say that he is not involved with the crew beyond casually making music, telling Joy Daily of Streetsweeper Radio, “it’s all love…we Harlem at the end of the day; it’s always gonna be love, it’s never  hate.”  Also discussed on The Breakfast Club was Vado’s relationship with Interscope, his manger being on this season of Love & Hip-Hop, industry chicks, bringing New York back, and more.  Check out the entire interview below.
