VH1 Celebrate Hip-Hop With New Shows, Documentaries

      To get hip-hop heads excited for the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors award show on October 8, the channel will be airing a slew of new shows and documentaries for the hip-hop audience. Today the channel will air its new “Bridging the Gap” series, featuring Queen Latifah and Eve and Snoop  Dogg and The Game. The show features two artists who share a mutual admiration and respect for the other will share a day, discussing their lives while creating a new track produced by one of today’s hottest producers.
      VH1 will also air “Rags to Riches: Nick Cannon”, which documents the rapper/actor’s life and Jay-Z’s “Fade to Black.” Also launching this month is “The Salt-n-Pepa Show”, featuring the legendary group trying to get back together and squash their differences. “The Gotti Show” goes behind the scenes of Irv Gotti’s The Inc. label as he tries to attempt a comeback and reclaim the label’s glory. VH1 will also be showing hip-hop movies like Krush Groove, Brown Suger, 8 Mile, and Dave Chappelle’s Block Party throughout the month.
