VIBE CROWN EMINEM AS BEST RAPPER ALIVE

The Vibe Best Rapper Alive Competition has come to an end with Eminem beating out Jay Z in the final. Over 920,000 votes were cast by Vibe followers after the battle started in July with 64 MCs going head to head for the title. Funny what laying in the cut will bring a man. But respect where respect is due, this one just wasn’t meant to be in the Carter trophy collection obviously.
In a statement the Detroit lyricist had this to say “It’s obviously an honor to have won the fans’ support by being voted the Best Rapper Alive.I don’t think that there is any one rapper that is simply the best, though. Everyone who was in consideration and many others are the best at certain things, and at what they do. But since Vibe’s offering the distinction, hell yeah, I’ll accept!”
