Video: Freddie Gibbs – Tim Westwood Freestyle
Homicidal. Freddie Gibbs with no regard for human life on these Drake/40 specials. His flow alone is a song but he so carefully chooses when to deploy it that it's still a Best Kept Secret for the Gary Gravedigger. Freestyle session after the jump.
Looks Like Hip-Hop Won The VMAs For All Time
Bey-Z rises from the rubble unscathed. Amber Rose pulls a J-Lo with her almost-not-a-dress. Nicki pulls her dress together by seams. RiFF RaFF, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift play their positions clumsily and look really and truly not cool bruh. Check the pics and videos after the jump.
New Music: Jonwayne – “World Championship Karate Champion” Feat. Quelle Chris & Zeroh
"Faded like Juvenile and BG." Those quirky guys at Mello Music Group bring out the dust and sitcom campy humor on this redundantly named track. Quelle intros the wacky world with goonish 70s swaggering and Jonwayne finesses his own instrumental nicely. Zeroh closes cleverly with some abrupt breaks that fully engage the lulling, funky bass line. Check it out after the jump.
Video: Cavalier – “Watch N’ Learn” (Prod. BMB SpaceKid)
Cavalier drops the first single from his project Chief. In it, the trap house gets a reverse makeover, bringing to light the seedy side of raising a family in drugged places. The album is due on September 9. Check the video after the jump.
