The year’s not even over and Drake is at #11 on this list, with $10.5M banked already. King Kendrick ain’t far off his heels with $9M in total. 50 Cent has also tumbled way down this list as compared to a few years ago. It looks like the young guns are taking their official place and not just some “Saved-By-The-Bell-The-New-Class” knockoffs either. Read the full list after the jump. Hat tip to TSS.

Diddy is still number 1. Can you imagine how rich he is?

  • kim

Nicki Minaj is the only female here.

  • alonely

Yeah, hiphop is still largely a man’s world.

  • gloat

I wonder if Diddy would agree to this list. He has always complained that Forbes always gets it wrong when it comes to how rich he is!

  • Eugena

I am amazed that JayZ is only second. It feels like he’s always having live shows here and there, plus a lot of businesses.

  • romero

I would say the same for Dr. Dre. The sales from Beats by Dr. Dre would have boosted him to the top.

  • Gi.Live.Act

I think he’s no longer getting a payout for that. That was the reason he was on top in 2012.

  • tidemeover

Am not sure Kendrick Lamar should be on the top 10, at #9 at that.

  • ATL

Drake and Birdman are also here. I wonder if they would be higher up on the list next year.

  • chona

Being a hip-hop icon can be very lucrative! Better than being a DJ.

  • kilili

I think Diddy should be on the Forbes 400 list. He’s really raking it in!
