Tiye sits down with Out Da Box Tv to discuss her career, and femininity in hip-hop.  I thought she makes some valid points on how their is a lack of balence from females in hip-hop.  To many chicks pretty much whoring themselves out for attention and showing complete lack of respect for themselves.  That’s why I don’t really fuck with the majority of female mc’s out these days.  How can I respect someone who has no repsect for themselves?  I think Tiye‘s whole movement kind of counters that phenomena.  Just check out the interview.  She can articulate her points better then me.  Half Woman, Half Amazin in stores May 26th.
