\ So... Macklemore's back apparently. After hitting it big in 2012-2013 with a pair of hit songs ("Same Love," "Thrift Shop") Macklemore and his coconspirator Ryan Lewis return with "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)," featuring another current hit-maker in Ed Sheeran. The 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards have wrapped up and though we're sure you'd rather be watching the cyphers the live performances aren't that bad. And this year BET brought out the big guns of the modern era, including Bobby Shmurda, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Migos. Perhaps the biggest takeaway during this was that the young stalwart from the ghettos of East NY, Brooklyn Bobby Shmurda closed the event with his hit single "Hot N***a", an incredible feat for someone who literally blew up over the summertime.
