Waka Flocka Clarifies That He Intends To Retire From Being “Industry”

To be honest I’m still pretty confused in regards to if Waka is retiring or not.  I think what he is saying here is that he is retiring from the music industry, but not music.  But he also wants to help the youth!  Does that sound about right?  The funny thing is how much my fictional account of a day in the life of Waka Flocka might end up being true.  Waka told MTV:

“Nah, I am gonna retire. I’m gonna retire from the industry,” he said. “I’m not gonna kick it in the industry no more. I’m gonna do what I wanna do, how I started like from the beginning. I’m gonna do exactly what I wanna do. I don’t expect to win awards, I don’t expect to go to big venues. I’m gonna really help the youth – this is what I started doin’ it for, so I’m gonna finish doin’ it.  Ya I retired from being industry.“
