The Wayans Brothers’ last flick, “Little Man,” got raked over the coals like it was a beef brisket, but the brothers are still hustling like crazy. Rogue Pictures has announced that it has made a deal with the Wayan’s brothers to turn their comic book, “Super Bad James Dynomite”, into a live-action feature film. Marlon Wayans will star as the main character.
"When we created the comic book, I always envisioned playing the title character on the bigscreen," Marlon Wayans told Variety.
The comic was created and written by Marlon, Shawn and Keenan (why isn’t Damon working with these fools?) and follows an inner-city blaxploitation anti-hero which is an amalgamation of Shaft, Dolemite and Black Belt Jones. The story follows James Dynomite as he is framed by a rival and sent to prison for years, returning to the streets way out of his league. He must regain his cool and try to take down the man who framed him. The studio hopes that shooting commences later this year.
