First I want to start off by saying Jerry Jones needs to jump on that private jet to Mississippi and beg Bret Farve to come out of retirement, because Tony Romo needs to be fired ASAP or benched. The Lions provided further proof they’re a legitimate contender by turning a 24-point, third-quarter deficit into a 34-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The San Francisco 49ers made the Philadelphia Eagles look stupid, they came back from a 20-point deficit to win 24-23.

Also the Baltimore Raven’s had three scores on defense that set a franchise record thanks to Mark Sanchez in Baltimore’s 34-17 victory Sunday night.

The Tampa Bay Buc’s also had to fight for everything Monday night against the  24-17 win against the Colts.

Also some of you may have noticed that the Opening to Monday Night Football was different that is because Hank Williams Jr.’s classic intro song for “Monday Night Football” — with its signature line “Are you ready for some football?” was pulled from the Buc’s vs. Colts game on ESPN after Williams used an analogy to Adolf Hitler in discussing President Obama.

In an interview on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” Williams compared the summer golf summit between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner as “one of the biggest political mistakes ever,””It would be like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli leader] Benjamin Netanyahu,” Williams said. “In the shape this country’s in?”
