Kanye West and Marion “Suge” Knight are set to appear in court against one another stemming from a Miami nightclub shooting.

It’s been more than four years since the event, but Suge is claiming in his suit that Kanye and the club’s owners failed to provide proper security and allowed for weapons to be brought inside the nightclub.

His lawyer Marc Brumer issued a statement saying:

“He’s an icon in the music industry. He walks in a room and he lights it up. He had an expectation of security there. How someone came with a gun into a very VIP party, that just doesn’t meet the smell test in life.”

Knight suffered a shattered femur from a gunshot wound and ran up over $200,000 in medical bills. He is seeking damages totally somewhere around $1,000,000 and a trial has been set for December 6th later this year.

Never going to happen and a waste of lawyer fees…

Young Money’s own Jae Millz was recently arrested on his way to the XXL Freshman 2010 concert and now the Harlem rapper is speaking out on the events that led to his arrest.

According to Millzy, he was pulled over by a New Jersey police officer, while making an illegal turn in his vehicle.  He says:

“Actually it was Cam’ron’s idea for me to come out at the XXL concert. Once he got the word that they wanted him to host it and then he spoke to whoever he spoke to that said he could bring Vado out, he told Vado it would be a good idea to bring me out to do whatever songs we got and for me to close the show with Lemonade. In all honesty I wasn’t really thinking about no type of confrontation or none of that… But on the way there I got arrested on some bullsh*t. I was on my way to the Highline Ballroom and I was driving without my license on me. Cops pulled me over in Jersey as I was leaving my crib and I had just changed all my clothes in a rush, and I left all my stuff in the pockets of my other jeans. I was speeding, I was on the phone and I did an illegal turn, so once he asked me for my license that I didn’t have, it was over. So that’s how that situation went. It’s all good though, I’m out obviously so I’m straight.”

Millz ended up missing the show and spending two hours in jail.

Weezy’s life capturer DJ Scoob Doo is in talks with several TV networks to bring behind the scenes footage of his Nino Brown documentaries.

Scoob recently did an interview with XXL and spoke on his plans to try and display unseen content to networks such as Spike TV, Fuse and HBO. Scoob says:

“A media network like HBO could have the best impact because they won’t try to censor it.  They push the envelope of what they show.”

“You could just imagine what I could have just being with the team, and being with Wayne on his countdown to jail and even when he didn’t know he was going to jail. Ever since No Ceilings came out, and even before that, it’s a lot of shit that I’m trying to catch people up with behind the scenes in what’s goin’ on.”

This would be a good look for Scoob, Weezy and Young Money as a whole. It’s always good to give fans a behind the scenes look, so they can see life from the artist’s perspective and I would definitely go with HBO on this one…
