Lil Wayne said back in March: “Tha Carter IV’ is done…All they need to do is tell Tez [manager Cortez Bryant] to stop sitting on it. Tez, stop sitting on ‘Tha Carter IV’ and put the album out.” Well someone needs to talk to Tez, because the new album has been pushed back from May 16th to June, with no explanation given for the delay.
The follow up to I Am Not A Human Being has been rumored to feature production from T-Minus, Bangladesh and Kanye West. A supposed tracklist hit the internet last week, however a producer close to the rapper has come forward claiming that it’s inaccurate as none of the track names are correct.
Pity that the album is pushed back, or else it would have dropped soon after the end of Young Money’s I Am Still Music tour which wraps in May. While you’re waiting check out the second single off the album. Spotted at the BB.
